I have had the privilege of introducing countless administrative professionals to the power of project management. Through training programs, books, articles, webinars, blog posts, and speaking engagements, I have shared project management principles and practices with this incredibly talented global community.
For administrative professionals, learning project management is truly a win-win opportunity. They gain the clarity, confidence, practical knowledge, and leadership skills needed to contribute effectively as project team members or they can step into project leadership roles themselves. At the same time, their organizations benefit from the expertise of highly capable professionals who bring insight, efficiency, organization, and strategic thinking to critical project initiatives.
When administrative professionals combine their existing strengths with project management skills, they become even more valuable contributors to project success, organizational growth and strategy gains.
During a conversation with one of my clients, we discussed the fact that while they had a large and talented administrative team, there are no dedicated internal resources available to help them navigate project-related challenges, answer questions, or provide guidance on project approaches and better practices. From that discussion, the concept of a "Project Success Advocate" was born.
As a Project Manager with more than 30 years of experience across 11 different industries, I am in a unique position to provide that support to administrative professionals. My goal is to extend the learning experience beyond the classroom by helping participants apply project management principles in real-world situations.
Through training programs, webinars, speaking engagements, and ongoing coaching, I help administrative professionals bridge the gap between learning and implementation. As a Project Success Advocate, I serve as a trusted resource to answer questions, provide guidance, share practical solutions, and help them confidently apply their project management skills in their day-to-day roles. This approach brings the learning experience full circle while enabling participants to continue expanding their talent toolbox and increasing their value to their organizations.
